Here's a description of each bulbs color and what they are recommended for....
3000K: Golden light: Very strong penetration for rainy days - usually used in fog lights.
4300K: Yellow: Similar to halogen light - the penetration is strong.
6000K: White light, like sunlight at noon - visual comfort. * The best combination of penetration and comfort, but on rain and fog days, the penetration is not as good.
8000K: White light with a bluish tint - penetrating power is weaker than the 6000K. * We do not generally recommend the use of higher color temperature bulbs for normal street driving conditions.
10000K: Blue Light: The higher the color temperature, the more blue light; rain and fog day penetrating power is weaker.
12000K: Purple Light: Decorative Bulbs, driving on rain and fog days is an inconvenience.
We Recommend: 4300K or 6000K installed in the low beam and high beam; for fog lamps, we recommend that you use very strong penetration, 3000K golden light bulbs.
"K" means the color temp of the lamp when working, and a normal misunderstanding is, higher the "K", the better the HID, but in fact, it's just the opposite—the lower the "K", the brighter the light.
